Fair. That might just have gone over my head :S But he was still very muddy.
Lol if you think Clarkson actually wet himself.

I'd have thought so, what's the point of hiring the equipment for a regular episode when it's just two people?
Looked to me like the studio shots may well have been PSC rather than multi-camera.

I'd say it's extremely likely the end of that film was shot on the night of the fracas.

Indeed. Echoes of when BBC One showed its final episode of Neighbours - the CA made absolutely no reference to it being the (BBC's) final episode, despite it being the end of a 22-year-old relationship which created enormous mutual benefit over the years.
In both instances it may be the BBC's way of saying "we're bigger than the programme", although it comes across to me as churlishness and sour grapes.
Yep, the friend that I was watching it with straight away said, "that's BBC politics right there". The BBC failing to heed the funereal tone of the final credits.

Really irritates me when a Continuity Announcer talks over the credits of any programme. In the moment i get so enraged i start foaming at the mouth and screaming threats to find them and beat them to death with their microphone. Is that wierd?

Any other time they may well have left it but BBC Two obviously want Odyssey to be a hit - particularly by doing the rare credits straight into ident option.
I watched Odyssey, blimey, more 'Poundland' than 'Homeland' as I've seen someone say this morning, that perfectly sums it up.
Ugh did they really have to spoil the silent credits with an ECP for a programme which was only 20 seconds away?

No not really, they can't seem to leave anything alone, the Beeb do themselves no favours at all

That's the problem though, the BBC
does
think it's bigger than the programmes it broadcasts.

And they're completely right
