I noticed it was Michael Peshard that done Breakfast this morning (29/3/01) and it was a welcome break from Jeremy!

Well I suppose we'd be saying that if Mr Blobby was in the hotseat, so he can't really win. We're a cruel bunch to 'poor' Mr Bowen, the Son of the Gods... Smile

I like Jeremy reporting and working at other hours of the day just not at breakfast when most of us are just waking up!

Why thank you, Martin. However 'Sons of the Gods' is the title of his new 'hit' TV show... apparently...

I went into a post office today, and asked if I could get my face on a stamp... The bloke said that he could arrange to have someone stamp on my face.... Smile

Made to exercise your chuckle muscles, and of course, go a little off topic for it. Please excuse me, Asa. Smile

I think that Asad Ahmed should be made a main newsreader on network BBC News. From what I've seen of him on Reporting Scotland (where he started a year ago) and Breakfast (with our favourite presenter!) he's very compatent.

Asad ahmed does have that authoritiveness in the mornings which the BBC looks for in a newsreader. How the hell bowen got in i dont know.

Well, he is the Son of God after all. Smile

Anyway Asad Achmed used to work on Midlands Today and was always very good - Moira and him would make a good team, although I suspect that the BBC would disaprove of that because of racial equality policies. I would like to see Asad moved to Bowens place and perhaps they could give Bowen a job making coffee or something....
