Shocked This forum is going down the dogs.

Quite frankly those comments are not needed on here at all and why you feel so against him for I haven't a clue.

I for one am deeply saddened about his death. He undeniably made brilliant ITV shows like 'Beadle's About' and 'You've been Framed' and it's sad to see another top class entertainer leave us.

RIP

Some really nasty comments here. A man has died leaving behind a wife and two children. You say you hate him and you make snide comments on his character but you've never met him. Shame on you.

His obit on BBC News is worth a read and should help some people understand that this was a man who was very intelligent, entertained millions, didn't take himself seriously and was awarded an MBE for raising millions for charity - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7217383.stm

Interesting to read about his charity work wasn't aware of that.

To be honest it is rather sad considering he had been suffering quite a bit since 2004.

Some people were obviously never hugged as children. I notice it's mostly the pretentious high and mighty Metropol lot. They think they're displaying an edgy wit but as always aren't as funny as they seem to think they are.

Always remember him as a kid on Saturday nights. Fond memories.

Aww, terrible news. A great loss to British television.

Alright, that's just wrong. Yes, it's sad a guy is dead, but he's not been on telly since the 90s unless you count that awful reality show he was in a couple of years back. So it's hardly a loss to television.

Who says i've never met him, knew him or worked with him. I don't like him, end of.

Yes. You've told us. Several times over.

Regardless of whether anyone liked the individual, it's pretty tasteless to use the announcement of someone's death to make such a point of it. I don't think anyone's asking for gushing praise whenever these threads are created, but a level of decency would be appreciated.

I'll try and bring this thread back up out the gutter....

Jeremy Beadle was a 'prankster' but also an entertainer and also did work and raise monies for charities.

RIP big guy

I loved Jeremy and his shows. The man was very intelligent and helped out where he thought he could. He should have still been on TV.

News 24 have just said he's known for shows "like "Beadle's About" and the hidden camera show "You've Been Framed"." Idiots.

Very sad loss, he'll be well missed. Sad
