Jeremey Bowen mugged at knifepoint

BBC Breakfast Newsreader Jeremy Bowen was mugged yesterday while walking home to his house in Camberwell from an awards evening for camera men.

The father of one was punched in the face and threatened at knifepoint before having his wallet stolen which contained �10.

He said he is 'in shock' and will 'take a few days of to recover'.

Poor poor Jeremy - he's my favourite newsreader, why any sicko could do this i dont know, but from recent experiences in London, there are a hell of a lot of weirdos who would happily bash your head in with a hammer!!!

I hope Jeremy is ok - and hope to see him back on telly soon!
