Who is this Jemma Woodman reading overnights on the ITV NC?
Is she a freelance? Where did she come from - what's her background?

I presume she's freelance - she did overnights several times back when it was ITN. Saying that, I haven't seen her anywhere else. I think she's really good actually (but no Owen).

She was with Westcountry until recently - didn't even know she'd gone!

She also had a stint doing the big breakfast news.

Yes, that's her.

Jemma also presented overnights on the ITV News Channel over the Christmas and new year holiday.

I saw one of her bulletins a few hours ago and she couldn't get through two links without at least 1 fluff. Not very impressive.

Poor Jemma , she must be so tired. She keeps fluffing her lines.

Five overnights in a row is a bit much though.

Personally think she's an excellent newsreader, and I would expect that any fluffs were a product of arriving at the ITN studios sometime around 8pm and getting home some time around 10am the following day, 5 nights on the trot. As far as I'm aware, she's still presenting the news at WestCountry - and far better than their main presenter Alexis Bowater in my view. Deserves to get the top spot in the SW!

Anyone else think Jemma looks just a little bit like Tess Daly?
