Actually I think you will find January 13th is a Tuesday!

Some of the TV guides are saying listings for the 3rd-9th January are going on sale on Christmas Eve (which is a bit too early IMO) and some are saying Saturday 27th December.

Im inclined to think it will be the 27th!

It's also Michael Schumacher's 35th birthday on that day! I am sending him a card....

Yes, that's relevant Rolling Eyes

Maybe not, but it caused me a little flutter and it might be a fact that Forum trivia fiends might find useful in a pub quiz..... swoon......

Okay question six - Who is sending MIchael Schumacher a birthday card *sometime* in January?

Square Eyes, im not a mind reader, how was I supposed to know they would put it on sale early when I originally posted that message Rolling Eyes

And I went to the shops today in my area and it wasnt on sale down here, so I still might be right and it will probabaly go on sale down here on the 24th or 27th

I went into WHSmith in the wondeful Golden Square in Warrington and had a flick through the Radio Times. But we now know what is replacing RI:SE

7.00am The Salon
7.30am Friends (Starting from Series 1, Episode 1)
8.00am Everybody Loves Raymond
8.30am Bewitched

Then that ends at about 8.50 or 8.55 and there's still no 4Learning so there's back to back repeats such as Judging Amy and ER.

I wonder why channel 4 dont extend the T4 strand out to cover periods where there is 4 learning. As T4 is aimed at teenagers, many universities don't start back until the week after, and then there are still people that either don't go to work, work at that time, have free periods, etc.

I hope that they either have some sort of branding and new idents/graphics or sell it all as T4 and have links. Even if June & Vernon won't do them, they have Steve and Crankie. (And well done to T4 for adding bells and snow, and making it all christmassy!).

They could have used better programmes than this though. The Salon? I wouldn't want to get up and watch it that early, perhaps it should be at 8:30 against LK Today. Friends... YES, Series 1?? I always prefer the later ones, I don't know why. The old ones just seem too old now.

They could have had futurama, as this would have bought in adults along with kids, because its animation.

Though as much as I love Futurama I would say it isn't a kids show, but it's popularity with kids is no where near as big as The Simpsons. It would be good if Channel 4 did show it at breakfast again, but I quote from our good friend Whataday here

"The ratings for Futurama were disappointing, the ratings for RI:SE are abysmal"

Maybe Channel 4 just want to show something different or stuff they know which is popular.

I can't remember the last time Futurama was given a decent slot on Channel 4, at the beginning of the year it was 7.00am, then it was around 2.00am for a bit and it is getting some late night showings more recently at something awful like 2.50am! Though how Channel 4 are going to show Seasons 4 and 5 at a reasonable time and expect good ratings is really beyond me. It doesn't help with Hollyoaks and The Salon being on five nights a week.

I know. They shownt the Xmas story episode of futurama last night, at 2:30 ish. It's a shame, as its great. The salon is only on for a couple of months when they return. Isn't it?
