I have noticed that on the BBC Press Office site that the schedules for Week 1 (3rd - 9th January 2004) and Week 2 (10th - 16th January 2004) are in the process of being confirmed for the BBC channels, including BBC1 and BBC2. As of yet no schedules have been confirmed, but DigiGuide should be releasing information on the schedules for Saturday 4th January hopefully sometime this weekend.
That'll be Saturday 3 Jan. It's the first day after the current Christmas TV listings mags end their listings, and that week's shows will be the clearest picture so far of what the 'new year new season' will bring.
I am looking forward to see what BBC2 will be showing instead of the Learning Zone between 12.30am until 2am every night. Judging by the BBC Press Office, programmes are scheduled on BBC2 some nights at 10.30pm replacing Newsnight, so maybe BBC2 are now showing Newsnight at a later slot and catoring for more drama and comedy programme after the 9pm watershed. If this is the case, then BBC2's evening schedules would look very different and less cramped, filling in programmes up until 10.30pm everynight after 9pm.
Ministry of Mayhem is due to start the following week. Trev and Simon have been signed up as writers and ex-BBC saturday morning exec Chris Bellinger has been brought in to Executive Produce.
Look out for shocky-shocky-bang-bang, a new "sport" and Holly undertaking challenges on the new show.

But January the 13th is a Tuesday! I though it was a Saturday Morning show. And what will be on the 3rd January? They can't even put SM:tv Gold on, as that's been running before the last show, and it would look stupid.
Perhaps CiTV are leaving a week to let the buzz of the last SM:tv where off, before Ministry and Mayhem. And I expect that you can't get them to prepare & reherse on new years week.
'Shocky, skocky, bang, bang' sounds like a typical name & game that would feature on DIck & Dom in da bungalow. I hope it wont be a clone.
A new sport? Like a new football, or rugby, is gonna be created on a saturday morning show, that will take the world by storm?
I do like the sound of holly soing challenges, a bit like Anneka Rice. Though didn't Fearne do Challenges at the start of The Saturday Show 2002 with Simon setting them in 'Simon Says'?
