Jane Hill has now been flown out to Washington for the BBC News Specials. She is currently presenting the Special at 1230 on BBC ONE, News 24 and World.

For anyone who wants the dogless and clockless BBC News Special opening titles, here they are!

Will do! And good for Jane! I think she's great! BTW, the BBC's what's on website hasn't been changed yet. They still insist that she will be on with Matthew later this evening!

I know, next week its scheduled to be Liz Pike with Matthew. She can't be on tonight, as she's with Peter Dobbie! So, it might be Brenda Paterson. If not her, them someone like Geeta Guru-Murthy.

Those in the know, for the benefit of those who aren't in the know (i.e. me), can you give a bit of detail about the Washington studio?

- For instance, where is it? Is it a building shared with other broadcasters or an office or what?

- Has it really got a nice view, or are those plasma screens. If the windows are real, why not make them bigger?

Sorry for my curiosity, but hey.

Did anyone notice on that photo that floor is slightly yellow, if I recall correctly there is a massive 'Breakfast' logo on that floor!

The camera pulled out a bit further during the elections so we could see it!

Rob, I know you like to moan at everyone for starting threads that you see no point in so now I'm going to moan at you. I'm not in a fabulous mood as it is but seeing this has just annoyed me even more.

As I was flicking on to BBC Text, this afternoon, I noticed Ms Hill in Washington, within seconds I realised that this would've been raised on the forum, complete with picture postcard and video.

Rob, you nag and nag and nag at people for posting 'pointless' threads, and yet it would appear you are the worst offender. Who cares whether News 24 has changed its chairs from grey to black? Who cares whether they've sent Jane bloody Hill to Washington? Does it honestly deserve an entire thread devoted to the fact that one of the BBC's presenters has flown across a bloody ocean? I seriously doubt it. Does anyone in here actually care whether Tony Whatever is on BBC News? Seriously, whenever I raised a point that was OT I was shot down and reminded that this is a presentation forum. I know others are getting annoyed with it now and I'd really ask you - and others - to consider whether posting threads like this is really necessary.

Well we all know what's going to happen now don't we! We're all going to get into another big argument! I say please, lets not, cause it will only make me cry in a corner of my room! So PLEASE stop all the arguing and insults, as it's really not worth wasting your time! Again as it has been mentioned, take it up with the person themselves, rather than the rest of us reading what you've got to say about them! ARGGHH!
