AFAIK the picture is not yet available on the internet and more to the point I think it is pathetic even considering looking at it.
My personal viewpoint on this is, that whilst these children have commited a horrific crime and there can be no dispute about that, it is a very silly idea to go and waste 2 other lives because of it.
If these children have honestly been reformed then let them live as normal a life as is possible for 2 people who have killed a child.
They will no doubt be taumented by what they have done for the rest of their lives, and I pity them.
On a subject related to TV I remember Granada interuptting programming for a news report on this, that is the 2nd time I have seen them do that, the more recent time was the bombing of the Arndale Centre, when I was also watching tv.
I have to say that suprisingly Granada's News coverage far outstripped that of the BBC's.
Interestingly, does anyone else recall *ITV* stations interuppting programming for news flashes?
As a rule BBC stations take things nationally, although Northern Ireland is an obvious exception.
I know that Central have done it on a number of occasions, for example during the riots in Nottingham, LNN have done so as well and from what I can remember TVS did it for the Brighton Bombings.
I think it this is a very bad taste topic started by the user above, and not at all related to the purpose of this forum. Cheshirec has redirected the conversation back onto TV but the topic title remains and I think it should be closed.
I agree too - I've just done a 2000 word essay on Capital Punishment, which included Jamie Bulger's killers, so I could argue back very violently (with Christian viewpoints!!) - but I'm not going to, as I am a law-abiding citizen, and it would be wrong to here!

I trying to discover any truth in the story & the uncertain limits news organisations can go to reveal where it is.
I probably won't be too long before CNN for instance puts it on their site. What about AP (it's not British) & BBC World news site might be able to get anyway with putting it on their news site BUT not BBC News (ie .co.uk)?

The last news flashes on TV would have been for Concorde. Blair announcing GE interrupted BBC1, but that was (sort of) known a few hours before.
This is a presentation forum as I have repeatedly mentioned and it this topic is not welcome here.
I find it increasingly annoying when people purposely post off topic threads. Invariably, messages go off topic, and to an extent, that is fine but I do not accept people starting threads purposely off-topic and controversial.
