J SkySports (Japan)

Has anyone got any screen grabs of idents or presentation from JSkySports in Japan?

Is it the same as Sky Sports as I notice from their website that the logo is the same.

Neither did I. And I must say I the name J SkySports is quite modern and cool. This is the first I've heard of the channel.

JSkyB launched in the mid-90's, it's logos have always followed those of BSkyB since launch, starting with the 1996 look. Having only seen logos and not idents, I can't tell you if the presentation is the same, but I'd expect so.

It's one of the few places that Sky/Star (I lump them together although of course BSkyB is only partly owned by NewsCorp) isn't dominating.

I'm no expert on Japanese TV, but aside from the public service of NHK which is quite BBC-like, especially in it's approach to pushing new technology like widescreen and digital, from what I've seen WOWOW has to be the channel (and now, with digital, family of channels) leading the way.

I can watch SKYPerfecTV!, so when I have time and it's not scrambled, I'll try to capture it.
