Bit of a funny moment:

Philip Hayton hands over the the sports presenter. Whilst Hayton is introducing the presenter, you hear a metalic thunk. The shot moves to the presenter who says...

'Hello, I'm XXX YYY and I've just kicked the table.'

Also, on a report about the hot weather and the heavy traffic, near the end of the report there was a shot of two topless women sitting on a crowded beach. It was definately an intended shot of them. The report was by a bloke so no surprises there then Watch on the next hour and enjoy!

During a rare viewing of News 24, Hayton was handing over to the sports presenter, except he refferred to Shelly Alexander as Shelly Webb, before correcting himself.

For those who don't know Shelly Webb is her married name - I guess some may not know that! Talking of female sports presenters - whats the name of that one ITN have on a Saturday evening on ITV.

You mean Gabby Yorath. If she's still called that - she got married last week.

No it isn't her. This one was on tonight - but I missed the front of the programme. I have seen her elsewhere before. Perhaps she is one of ITV's 'stars for the future' - shame we dont know her name!

She was previously refered to as Shelly Webb but now shes know as Shelly Alexander so Shelly Alexander would be her married name?

Her husband is the former footballer Neil Webb

I think her name is Felicity Barr?

No Webb was her married name, Alexander her maiden name

So why has she gone back to her maiden name? Has she got a divorce?

Yeh! Felicity Barr is the one! She used to work as the sports reporter/presenter at Meridian Newbury

Felicity Barr was also working for London Tonight a few months ago as a sports reporter - occasionally reading the news - I saw her doing an opt from GMTV in June.
