Isn't Grays Inn where ITN is? The Tower is on the South Bank. Sorry to be picky! Rolling Eyes

Network Centre is in the ITN Building I belive. It's seperate from the ITV Plc. operation (apparently).

Yes, that's right. The ITV Network Centre is at 100 Grays Inn Road and ITV plc is at the South Bank Studios. ITV has always been at Grays Inn Road, but since ITV got rid of the regions, the old LWT studios have become ITV plc's Head Office. GMTV is still at the South Bank though,

BBC 2 had its usual Flog It! on earlier. Must be the worst time for BBC2 and Channel 4 between 6 to 8pm on a Saturday.

This particular Bond season started with Die Another Day and has gone in reverse chronological order, towards Dr No.

The (recent bit of the) reverse chronology is:

# 8: Live And Let Die (Roger Moore's debut)
# 7: Diamonds Are Forever (Sean Connery's "2nd farewell" )
# 6: On Her Majesty's Secret Service (George Lazenby)
# 5: You Only Live Twice (Sean Connery's "1st farewell" )

I remember # 8 being on ITV1 recently, and now there's the # 6 / # 5 double bill. Have they missed out # 7? Or did I just miss when it was on?

Maybe one day, What about ITV showing all the Bond films non-stop from Dr Who to Die Another Day. How many hours would that take

I'm confused ....

Is it a Bond Season on ITV, or an ITV Season on James Bond TV?

Wink

(Confession: I watched the second one yesterday and enjoyed it.)

I agree the terrestrial channels were cr@p yesterday. I actually watched Sky Movies last night instead, they had two really good films on - Scary Movie 3 (8pm) and Dawn of the Dead (10pm). And before that I watched Star Trek: Enterprise on Sky One (4pm).

I know I pay for the service, but at least they know how to entertain! Shocked Shocked

Now, its the middle of the summer, but come on, two ancient Bond films in one afternoon! That just stinks of laziness and desperation - did everyone at Grays Inn Road leave their brains at home when planning todays schedule? Even worse is that they still insist on splitting You Only Live Twice for the news - why not just show the bulletin between 16.50 and 17.05 which is close to the usual time it is broadcast? What happened to showing the Bond films on a Friday night? Isnt the whole point of having the Bond season in the first place being that all the films are shown in order or in this case backwards) at the same time every week and make a feature out of this? What with the remainder of the evening being filled with Rock Around the Block and Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes, does anyone else get the feeling we'll have headlines about more incredibly low ratings on Monday?

Bollocks isn't it!!
