ITV's six new idents

Ah, you beat me to it. Was going to say it was on page 2 of this thread!

Since the addition of these new idents we haven't seen any of the launch idents. Have they gone forever? I hope not. Pugwash and see-saw were nice happy idents with good music.

If I remember rightly the idents were seasonal with a set of about 22 or so for each season - so they roll around a bit!

The first set wasn't particularly wintry was it?

ITV's definition of seasonal probably means they use the seasons to roll them around, not tie them to a season

It would appear that "Record Store" was filmed at Kellys Records (yes it's spelt without an apostrophe!) at Cardiff Market, Cardiff.

am I the only one missing Pugwash?

Last weekend I tried to record as many of the ITV "second set" idents (introduced early April 2013), and got the following:

Baby's Dinner, Bowling (1), Bowling (2), Bungee Jump, Caterpillar, Control Centre, Dance Crew, Florist, Greenhouse, Hen Party, Hook-a-Duck, Horse, Living Statue, Record Shop, Rowers, Waltzers.

I recorded most programme starts, but didn't manage to get Windy Beach, Bingo, Lamb or Farmer. Do certain idents get shown less often than others? When were Lamb and Farmer last on?

I notice Barber's Shop Shave was added to The Ident Gallery only a few days ago. Was that new last Sunday evening?

To think, ITV brought out over 20 new idents mid January 2013 (and a couple more since), yet now they don't seem to be showing those. Have they stopped showing those? If so is it just for now, or will they be back at a later date? Why have they felt it necessary to stop showing those idents, which had only been in use 3 months, and bring out another new batch of 20 odd idents? Does this mean they'll bring out a summer batch early July, and an autumn batch early October? Alternatively is this April 2013 batch a spring and summer batch, and will they be bringing out an autumn batch early September (the time when they've traditionally gone from showing summer to autumn programme trailers over the years) and Christmas idents early / mid December? Time will tell.

Farmer is sometimes on before the news update at 11:30. So in 25 minutes!
