ITV's six new idents

Yes its new to TV, but it has been on Vimeo for a while. I saw it back when the original lot of idents were introduced.

Another one of those aired this morning - the one with the kids playing in the leaves - and a further one with a drenched dog being towelled dry.

The last two idents featured are the Autumn Leaves ident and the Slide ident (starting from 1:18 ), contain different music in this video to the idents which have aired recently.

I know the two pieces of music in the video don't really follow the same theme of all the other music, but I like the two pieces of music used in them.

With these idents only just airing, itv are looking for people to appear in their Christmas set on twitter

But why would an ident need someone with a regional accent, or even speak.

They may not speak on the idents, but it may be a way for a London-based agency to attempt to get a more diverse mix of people applying.

Everything is always about London!!!! It's very annoying. Do they know that Wales and Northern Ireland also show itv?

Maybe the words "Merry Christmas" will come into play.
