ITV's six new idents

Even for TV Forum that's beyond sad.

So glad he's not checking my site...

I'm just thinking... well no I'm not as I'm on holiday and couldn't give a ...

However, if it is a cause for concern, I will amend things appropriately but in due course.

Yesterday evening, at the start of the 6:45pm edition of You've Been Framed, I recorded an ITV ident featuring a boy standing on a beach, and someone rubs sun tan lotion on his back. Did anyone else spot that ident at 6:45pm yesterday, and/or know the one I'm describing. It's not the same as the Sandcastle one I recorded a week ago, and is not yet on The Ident Gallery. Was it shown at all prior to 6:45pm yesterday evening, or was that its first showing?

Itv have removed the 'royal baby' ident from their YouTube page. Anyone know why?

Because it was uploaded prematurely.

Nice new "chip catching" ident earlier. Shows a lady throwing chips in the air for the seagulls.

Very rarely do I watch ITV4, it may be, it seems ITV are really keeping all their channels fresh down to these little edits made to the idents.

Thanks very much edmund. I've just compared the quoted vimeo ITV4 Explosion ident with the 4th ident down on the ITV4 Current Idents page of The Ident Gallery.

Both have the same building, but I've noticed it's a different man in front.
Said Explosion ident on The Ident Gallery: a white man, wearing a tie.
Explosion ident on vimeo: a considerably younger black man, not wearing a tie.

I've seen the one with the white man wearing a tie (and managed to record it back along), but haven't seen the one with the younger black man in.

Hope nnone minds me asking - are they going to bring back the ITV Pug Wash ident?? As this was probbaly the most popular idents of the lot - yet I haven't seen it for ages now? I know they have launched these new idents recently - but surely we will see the Pug again? Surely?
