Maybe instead of a monday, they could try relaunching on a different day.BBC1 relaunched on a Saturday in 1997!
Saturday is probably the only other day that would make sense though.

I think I remember seeing Star Wars Attack Of The Clones, Harry Potter, The Bourne Identity and a couple of others.

Anyone have any idea of any movie premieres on this autumn? And I was reading on the net before about a string of US imports coming to ITV4 when it launches, any idea what they could be?

Not too sure about TXF, i didn't really get into it last year, even if it did have fantastic titles! I would rather have Popstars back.Pop Idol might have got higher ratings, but it wasn't really a flop.

When Strictly Come Dancing returns in October, I think it will take The X Factor to the cleaners again.

It didn't take them to the cleaners, it got slightly more viewers occasionally

I think both channels were happy because unlike Fame Academy, SCD wasn't a copy of an ITV show and they appealed to different audiences. ITV got the audience the advertisers crave and the BBC got a massive audience of people that had been neglected, namely older people. But when it comes down to bragging rights SCD got more viewers than TXF and also Ant and Dec!!
I think this autumn could be a really good one and I just hope the public are more adventurous in their choices so that good shows get the big ratings they deserve.
