ITV's 50th Birthday Celebrations

To celebrate ITV's 50th Birthday the Royal Mail are issueing a set of stamps showcasing ITV's best programmes from the last 50 years!

You can vote on which programmes are featured by visiting itv.com and/or texting your vote.....

Also worthy of note is the NEW ITV 50 logo being used:-

On a semi-related note, Richard Lindley's book on 50 years of ITN - And Finally... - is published later this month.

Sorry if I'm being a thickie here, but I've been to itv.com and can't see anything relating to this.

Even though I'm sure that is the official logo, it looks like a mock.

It does look like a mock, though I bet it's official, but then again they've done it in the style of the website logo, how very strange especially when they don't use this time of logo on screen anymore.

This style of logo was used on Carlon's Ad campaign last year and was also used for the 2002 Next Caption. It isnt exactley the same as the scratch.

I thought this WAS the scratch! What is different?

I hate the logo, it would be better if they used the current ITV1 logo, and repalced the 1 with a 50.

You can also vote for which stamp you think should be used with TV Times. Hopefully Coronation Street will become the stamp as it is a british institute and therefore deserves to be a stamp.

Is this ITV 50 website? from ITV or an Enthusiast ?

There's nothing on the site apart from a ITA slide.

Hopefully ITV will have new owners soon so any plans will need to be recast.

Plenty to choose from! Of course also airing, split up ITV logo and the black and white one for drama premiers. ITV has used so many different versions of logos over the past few years!
