It appears ITV.com is using the same Granada server as most of that company's sites (and the one that used to host g-wizz.net). The directories you listed should work with most Granada domains (try www.thismorning.co.uk/emmerdale or /lwt for example). So nothing in the sites is actually new.

Yeah, I know that, but at least it shows that they are going to 'neaten up' their website addresses, which many of us at this forum have felt is necessary for some time now.

Have to agree with you their Phil. At last, ITV's websites (well some at the present time) feel like they are all as a 'family'. This, is of course, for the ITV1 relaunch isn't it?
BBC bought that years ago from boston computers for thousands. So far, they have no plans to publish it. They've also bought bbcnews.com but like bbc.com does not get published. Seems totally bizarre.

I think bbc.com is just a link to the normal BBC site. If you forget if it's bbc.co.uk and type bbc.com, you'll get to the same site.
Well, that's one explanation anyway!

Back to the ITV thing, http://www.i.tv has been registered!
Do you think they'd go that far??

BBC got the BBC.tv address for free along with a few other .tv domain names after they won a competition!
