"Meanwhile, from next month Ant and Dec will host a game show marathon on ITV1, reviving seven classic shows on successive Saturday nights to celebrate the channel's 50th birthday. Bullseye, The Golden Shot, Mr & Mrs, Play Your Cards Right, The Price is Right, Sale of the Century and 3-2-1 have been tipped for inclusion."
Trust ITV to opt for 'more' budget shows. Although probably more expensive and difficult to organise I reckon the Krypton Factor should have been included - a show that had a piece of everything, - rather than the stale 10-a-penny 'indoor' based, lighter, less intellectually demanding shows they've gone for.
Probably too serious a show for the more kid audience-oriented Ant and Dec but still a real shame since this anniversary should celebrate the very best shows ITV has made.

I don't think they can be the final 7, as Ant & Dec imply that Family Fortunes is included in the trailer.

As much as I would love to see The Krypton Factor come back, there would be some problems, firstly it would be far too expensive for a one off programme, as they would need to hire out an Army assault course, to use a flight simulator machine and to create a special piece of film would be needed, and this doesn't come cheap. Also Ant and Dec wouldn't suit it, TKF was more of a higher class game show, that was where Gordon Burns was right for the job.
I haven't seen the Trailer for the Gameshow marathon yet but I will certainately be watching the Bullseye remake, at least then the prizes can be deliberately crap.

ITV actually went on air: Thursday 22 September at 7.15pm. A Thursday was chosen so that the ITV weekday contractor (ABC?) could have one night's ad revenues and the weekend contractor (ATV) the other.

Was it not so "that they could have a better horoscope"?
