I'd be very surprised if that was true, given how ITN spent a lot of money fairly recently on the current one... and ITV doesn't give them a lot of money to chuck about these days.

EDIT: Having now seen your link to the thread in question, I'd be even more surprised if any of that was true. Wink

Same can be said for BBC 4 or Cbeebies

The thing is, with the current set it would be very easy to incorporate a change of colour scheme and graphics style without making any physical changes.

Interesting. So ITV are ditching the yellow and blue. I wonder if the rest of the ITV family will be re-branded on November 1st. Or maybe it will happen sooner. Possibly when ITV50 ends?

I think ITV1/2/3/News are getting their new looks early in the new year.

Surely ITV1/2/3 would get the new look in line with ITV4's launch, it makes more sense. Confused

Yep but then the launch of ITV4 would be overshadowed. The new looks to ITV1/2/3 are supposed to happen in the new year.

Bit strange ITV3 needing to have a new look, its only been on air a year!

I think ITV4 will work, they need to ditch Muff & Motors though as they are more or less one and the same thing.

ITV1 - General
ITV2 - Repeats, Entertainment, Films, Daytime slanted towards women
ITV3 - ITV Gold channel (increasing number of classics, no films)
ITV4 - Drama/Action/Comedy/Lifestyle for Men, action films, cult programmes

I don't see any need in a ITV Shopping or Gaming Channel whatsoever.

Well if that is the new ITV4 logo, surely the other channels will change their font to match?

The font isn't that much different to the current one anyway... Rolling Eyes

Can someone change the title of this thread to something more apt, now that good old Charlie has decided to divert all talk of ITV4's logo here?

Will there be a ITV4 Nightscreen?

Sorry to be rude here, but I thought those Mock forums would be flaming with ITV Mocks

I am actually more exited of how ITV News is going to look rather than ITV itself
I also suspect that the logo will animate and will actually look very Swish on screen

I bet they'll just slap the new ITV logo on the current ITV News opening titles, as news relaunches generally have a specific reason, not just because the other channels are changing.
Think what happened to BBC News when the BBC changed its logo in 1997.

Isn't there enough rubbish on the current 3?
