Having only very recently acquired a Freeview Box could someone please tell me what normally happens when a new channel is allocated to Freeview as in the case here with ITV3?
Do I need to do anything with my box or will I find it will just appear on an empty channel? Though there doesn't appear to be many empty channels where all the prime ones are placed are at the moment!

What make/model of box do you have?
I believe some boxes have automatic scanning for new channels, but with most boxes you will have to do a 'store channels' or 'add channels' procedure when the new channel(s) are available.
You will find that some radio stations (including Premier Christian Radio and most likely 3C, the country music station) are added in the next 10 days or so
