You could've saved a couple of bucks - ITV3 have restarted the run from the start.

In series 6 I think either episode 5 or 6 a guy called Brick Beckham* comes from the future something like 2138 and Ron sells him the shops stock.

*"you were named after the footballer?" "no the prime-minster"

You mean you can actually watch Goodnight Sweetheart without falling asleep!? Sorry, but i think it's the worst thing Nicholas Lyndhurst has ever done. I'll forgive the WHsmith ads because i loved him in Butterflies.

Did you not see "The 2 Of Us"? Laughing

The first few series of "Goodnight Sweetheart" were OK. But it went rapidly downhill when the wives changed. The final episode was good though.

I have watched this for ages on ITV3 and then went and forgot about the final one on Monday...guess I will just have to keep my eyes open for when it comes around again!

I've never seen that either. I was probably a student and out on the slash when this was broadcast. If it was about the time of The Word and Beavis and Butthead then it would have passed me by in a blurred haze.

Interesting how in the first series they use incidental music for the wartime scenes and Gary also has a more common accent.

Dervla Kirwan's cockney accent is awful but I like it. Confused
