ITV2's New Idents

Well, we've seen the new Haywalking and Panda Walker idents ...

Haven't we seen that wheelbarrow one before?

It was posted on ITV's YouTube channel on the morning of the rebrand, but was deleted the same day and not seen on TV (until now).

There was another ITV2 ident with young people running through an airport that was also posted on YouTube and quickly deleted. AFAIK it is yet to be used on TV.

And apparently the dog is a Chow Chow.

Just seen that - should be on at 8.30pm on ITV2+1.

Now that ITV2 is this year's Broadcast Digital Awards' Channel of the Year, perhaps it's time BBC Four removed the strapline from its idents...

Oh, how long until BBC2 can stop looking like total ****?

They're two different awards.......

Both the BBC 2 and BBC 4 awards are from the traditional Channel of the year awards awarded annually at the Edinburgh Media Guardian Television Festival. When Sky1 had the same award as ITV2 last year they pointed out it was the Broadcast award and not the traditional one.

It's worth noting that there's no digital award at Edinburgh this year.

Has ITV2 shown the Airport ident yet? Since the extra idents were added in the spring, I've managed to get the hay bales, panda walker and wheelbarrow workmen idents on video, but not the airport one.
