ITV2 showing Pictures on Sky Digital

Hmmm, I live in Northern Ireland and when I try to bring up ITV2 it is blocked :S
I wonder if they will be a block on it because viewers in NI are supposed to get UTV2. UTV has no intentions of carrying UTV2 on Sky Digital, and it looks like the channel is headed in the same direction as S2 (scottish itv2).

I don't see why we should not get ITV2 in Northern Ireland when UTV2 isn't an option !

Has UTV2 finished now anyway? Didn't ITV strike a deal with them to show ITV2 and ITV Sport Channel? I'm sure I read that somewhere....

Nope, UTV2 is still going. It is simply ITV2 content with a few regional opt outs and no advertising! just 3 mins of the UTV2 ident spinning :S

UTV have not agreed a deal for ITV Sport carriage on ITV Digital in Northern Ireland. There is a big court case or something cos UTV are not happy with ITV (aka Carlton/Granada) superseeding their UTV brand with ITV Digital :S

Looks like its gonna be very messy !
