The trailer using the GMB studio is baffling. The rug looks digitally edited, and the black bar with the ITV 2 logo on it has clearly been done in post production. If the GMB parts of the studio are covered up, why bother using it? Literally anywhere else could have been used for the Caroline Flack one. They could even have used the reception at ITV Studios London, at least Caroline Flack sitting reading a magazine would make more sense.
Will airing the new episodes at 9pm help or hinder it do you think? I don't think BBC Three ever aired an episode at or around 9pm did they? Usually 10pm or later.
Not sure if 9pm will do better, it should do depending on what else is on at the same time. Usually less competition at 10pm.

10pm usually was the earliest but Fox has aired episodes at 9pm before, and in fact are doing so tomorrow night (Wed). Next Monday their Family Guy airings are well out of the way of ITV2, at 2:50am.
I think the new episodes are 9pm (and Bordertown at 9:30pm) but they are still showing a double bill of old episodes at around 11pm every night like BBC 3 did. American Dad! will likely be after that around midnight which is a shame as it is actually funnier than Family Guy these days and deserves a better slot. They will probably bury The Cleveland Show in the wee small hours.
Family Guy: 9-9:30, 10-11
Bordertown: 9:30-10
American Dad!: 11-12
The Cleveland Show: 12-12:55
Meet the Family Guys: 12:55-1.25
The latter is a documentary hosted by Matt Richardson about production of the show.
Double bills of Family Guy then American Dad! start at 11:05 from Tuesday, I presume the Monday schedule will remain fixed whilst the Tuesday schedule will be for the rest of the week.
So did itv buy the old episode right off BBC? Thought BBC had old episodes till 2017?
It's more likely that "BBC Three" had more of a budget cut than they were expecting, and for something like Family Guy which they never had the online rights for in the first place, the official line appears to be "we can't afford it".
Not the first time the BBC has bailed out of something they had rights to for a while - Formula 1 is an example of this, and some other sport as well. It may have been cheaper to cut the contract with Fox rather than buy a year's worth of online rights at the expense of everything else.
It seems a bit odd that the new season was recently premiered on BBC Two when they already knew that it would be going to ITV2 a few months later. Why didn't they just keep the new episodes on BBC Three as they always had done for years before?
