Post production editing or would they have gone to the effort of changing all of the cushions and the rug for the advert?

Yes.

I like the promo style. But, Can't you just show some scenes of the programme instead of getting the characters to show off in a bid for our attention? Sorry to be extreme?

I guess the intention is to emphasise the new location rather than just the content.

The trailer using the GMB studio is baffling. The rug looks digitally edited, and the black bar with the ITV 2 logo on it has clearly been done in post production. If the GMB parts of the studio are covered up, why bother using it? Literally anywhere else could have been used for the Caroline Flack one. They could even have used the reception at ITV Studios London, at least Caroline Flack sitting reading a magazine would make more sense.

Cartoons do not have to make sense. It's just meant to be any old TV studio, it would have made sense to use that studio as its a TV set that's built.
