Good point - someone used the exact same logo - but they did the same thing I bet - based it on ITV1's logo. I'm afraid it is the real new logo. Sorry.

The new look will probably show up with the new ITV1 Idents in the autumn, BTW who else thinks the new look idents etc, will show up with ITV on sky?

That logo IS official - it's already being used on some adverts on the London Underground

I hate it - the current ITV2 logo is cool - they should've made the ITV1 logo in ITS image

This new logo for ITV2 has already been used tonight in the Granada Northern Regions, promoting the channel on the current hearts idents (as has been done since August 11th)

I've already seen this logo, it was on various trailers on Granada. Doesn't look too bad and fits in with the generic ITV brand.

There are some ITV1 trailers on ITV1 at the moment that do feature this new ITV2 logo at the very bottom of the promotion.

I hope the new ITV2 idents are as creative and distinctive as the current ones and look nothing like ITV1's

Considering it was used on ITV1 idents, may I ask if it's now used on ITV2's own idents and presentation yet? I haven't seen any ITV2 ads since Sunday, so I can't tell that way. How strange! The animation isn't synchronised with the image from the site, even though I got it's url from the properties thing you access by right clicking it!

ITV2 is supposed to be the younger, fresher channel - ok so it really just shows repeats of Trisha and a few cheapo US shows really!

The new logo is as dull as the one on the main channel.

ITVneeds to seriously rethink its image.
SERIOUSLY - the logo they use now is too jokey for the main channel and too boring for ITV2 - in fact nothing they do seems to be any good - I dispair.
