Just to cheer you up --

The previous night's version of The Late Show with David Letterman airs each weeknight at 22:30h UK time on AFN Atlantic.

Hmm, thanks for that . . . I think?!?

Do AFN Atlantic happen to have their programming streamed on the web perchance?

A frayed knot.

Either you move to somewhere within range of one of their terrestrial transmitters (Brussels, Chevres-Mons, and some major cities in American occupation zone of Germany) or you go visit one of your buddies in the US military stationed in England who has a satellite dish and a decoder.

On a slightly unrelated subject, where my signature image gone?

In that case, I've now replaced it with one that's 35% smaller . . .

Meanwhile . . . in other news . . .

The popular US late night talkshow host has announced on his show that, at the age of 56, he's going to become
a father! So, on the one hand, it's a case of "Congratulations Dave!", but on the other hand it's a case of, "Look
out, there's a baby Letterman on the way!" At least he'll a good excuse to take time off from his TV show!

It's not actually ITV2 that chooses to air Late Show re-runs, aside from the repeats that are shown at around 05:10, just
before GMTV2. Whenever Dave and the rest of the Late Show production staff take some time off, the CBS network will
instead air a week (sometimes a fortnight) of repeats.Usually, these re-runs are no more than about 6 - 8 weeks old,
so that some of the comedy material (opening monologue, top ten list) are still, in some way, topical.

While these re-runs are being shown on CBS, we get the exact same repeated shows, broadcast on ITV2, the night
after they're aired in the States. AFAIK, due to contractual obligations, ITV2 can't randomly select their own re-runs
of different editions of the Late Show. IIRC, this has always been the case, even back in the days when Letterman
was on Sky One, although back then, the CBS re-runs where about 1 - 2 years old, rather than just a few weeks.
