ITV2 doesn't appear to be FTV (at the moment). I have a FTV card and just get the standard 'Contact the broadcaster to upgrade your subscription'. Anyone know if it will be FTV (like it is on ITV Digital)?

TV Tony - I originally thought as you did but it isn't because BSkyB is paying £3m to include ITV2 in its package of channels in the first year and £4m thereafter as per the Guardian.
It is therefore included as part of a Sky subscription.
You have failed to consider the fact his post count increases if he posts before he thinks - and he's nearly at 1000.

Last night (Thurs 23 Nov) at around 1730, I caught a bit of Stars In Their Eyes on ITV2. It was a 'live' (but not anymore) grand final from a series or two ago. There was a bloke being Phil Collins, singing
Take A Look At Me Now
(which was ruined, sorry covered, by Westlife and Mariah Carey relatively recently*).
The aspect ratio was rather odd. It looked like 14:9 stretched vertically so as to touch the top and bottom of a 4:3 shape area. Also the ITV2 DOG was crammed right into the top left of the screen, with no little bit of space between the edges of the DOG and the edges of the overall picture. Very strange.
*Ordinarily I quite like Westlife (especially Bryan & Nicky,
swoon
...), but if their career is gonna have just one turkey, that's it. Mariah Carey I don't care much for, but I won't diss her as I can take or leave her music (and I did like
All I Want For Christmas Is You
, a few years ago).

ITV1 and ITV2 have been having a whole pile of aspect ratio problems on Sky but they'll be sorted soon, apparently...

ITV2 (along with Discovery Kids & Wings) make my WS TV go into 14:9 mode by using a line23 switching signal. This makes only small bars appear at the side of the screen.
