+1 isn't working for me. I switched to ITV1 and just caught the end of This Morning. I switched to ITV1+1 expecting to see the start of This Morning (as depicted on the promos for ITV1+1) but it was already part way through it. What a rip off!

Surely this must be a wind up ... it's + 1 hour! This Morning is 2 hours long - how did you honestly ever expect that you'd see the beginning of TM 2 hours later?? Rolling Eyes Otherwise the channel would be called "ITV-see-the-start-of-programmes-as-they-end!"

The promo didn't really depict that you'd be able to do that, it was just showing the "hello's" and "goodbye's" of lots of programmes to make the point that you could see things an hour later.

That's twice now you've blundered in over someone's perfectly aparent sarcasm. Maybe you shouldn't. Don't you get the style of individual posters yet?

Anyway, that is *exactly* what the trailer suggests. They picked a poor programme to feature in the trailers.

Apologies Gavin and David for that matter, but he hardly made it that clear i.e no Wink
On your second point, unlike you who seems to keep count of how many blunders I've made, I haven't really read that many of David's posts to be perfectly honest, so don't really know his style. Your style I obvioulsy get because I've read a lot of your posts.

Fair enough on the trailer point, but it was more of a general "Don't you hate it when you tune in just as their signing out, but on the plus side catch all your favourie shows one hour later." So it does make it clear that's it's an hour later, but I'll agree the This Morning clip is a bit stupid to feature.

I thought that about the promo too - really bad example to use, but I guess they got Philip and Holly and couldn't get (or didn't want) Loose Women!

It's an hour on both Saturday and Sunday, isn't it?

Thank you for the first sensible reply to my query. I'll try watching on Saturday and/or Sunday to see if this resolves the issue.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) doesn't seem to be listed on ITV1+1 (SKY+)Shame and makes the whole point of the channel pointless.

The Virgin EPG reads, "This is ITV1+1 STV (Sky)"

How odd for it to say that.

What's the issue here then ? Mr Lucas doesn't like his films being simulcast, albeit an hour later ?

I don't know of the exact issue, but the rights aren't (currently?) available for the Star Wars films to go out on +1. On a similar subject you'll often notice that Spielberg films don't have the Toyota sponsorship either - presumably the likes of Lucas and Spielberg (or their distributors) are just able to call the shots on this sort of thing (if you'll excuse the pun). Either that or name their price, to which the answer is "no"... Smile
