You'd think they'd give ITV1 HD the better slot - though perhaps they will be part of the "swap" option with Sky from Feb.
Surely though having ITV2+1,3+1,4+1 together from 178 then all the HD channels back to back from 225 would be better (or swapping HD with the +1).
Apparently ITV1+1 will be going into Sky Ch 131, with the others shuffling as follows:

179 ITV2+1
180 ITV3+1
225 ITV2 HD
226 ITV3 HD
227 ITV4 HD
228 ITV4+1

Yes I saw this, as annoyingly Winter Hill currently has an overlap with the Wales transmitter due to it being on high power until further notice after the DSO in Nov. 2009, and so I received two versions, both named "ITV1+1" to add to the confusion, when I retuned tonight.

I'll bet the ITV1 Wales bumper will be gone from ITV1 Wales within weeks.... the last bit of regional pres in an ITV plc region. ITV1+1 offers the perfect excuse as, clearly, this geographical reference will be a bit confusing for people in the former HTV and Westcountry regions.

BBC, ITV1, Ch4 and C5 won't be swapping positions with their HD counterparts on 1 Feb on Sky.
Apparently, ITV4+1 will be back on Sky tomorrow ( EPG 228), according to posts on Digital Spy.
