Will the regional idents have GRANADA added at the bottom?

I don't know if the regional idents will have GR/N/DA added at the bottom because I haven't seen them. I just know that they are using this purple endcap style ident before regional news and programmes.

So are you saying that ITV1 network trailers are produced in Leeds all year round?

Right, lets explain. The Chritmas itv1 ident which is currently being shown on all GMG stations was designed at Leeds, as were the Christmas trailers which are being shown on most stations, Carlton included. They were not designed by Carlton or ITV Network Centre as some of you might think.

Yes, all Granada regions will be using them. They are actually quite similar to the Christmas itv1 ident currently being used, but they are boring. Obviously all the christmassy things have been removed. If you take the christmas ident, remove the stars etc, make the [itv1] logo blue and yellow and change the background to yellow and white, you basically have the new ident. It's not very well animated either, and you can tell it's a Leeds job a mile off.

Well one thing is for certain if this is true then im not watching Granada Stations again. I suppose the Anglia and Meridian thing moving to Leeds could be true, because if the idents are generic then the announcer only has to say something like `here on itv1` before programs and Leeds could record regional announcements for all Granada stations before the local news ect. This may also explain the number of miststakes coming out of Leeds at the moment.
And as for Network Centre taking over, I can actually see Leeds having more influence
