There is a thread for Scotland I think so I thought id do one for Wales.
I notice we have a significant amount of opt outs from the network this week, mainly weeknights after News at Ten when the network is showing repeats of peak time programmes.
However today I notice they have opted out of Murder She Wrote this morning (which was 1 hour 45 minutes) to show Soccer Sunday which is 45 minutes long. For the other hour we have two half hour repeats of regional programmes, one of which I believe was shown on Thursday at 7.30pm.
I suppose the good thing about opting out is we get a "proper" ITV1 Wales ident (if you can call it that) with the word Wales actually on it, not just placed over the top of the network one which we get all all other times. The announcer also calls the station ITV1 Wales by name when its a regional opt out, regardless of whether the programme is about Wales or not.
