ITV1 special idents

First we had the Ice Age bumpers and characters, today I noticed Hulk break bumpers, and just before the Hulk we had a Matrix ident.

Just thought I'd say, this being a TV presentation forum and all that. Not a lot of effort goes in it has to be said, just a logo slapped on a bit of footage, but makes for a change.

Yes, there seem to be Matrix bumpers too with the green text saying the trilogy starts Monday, although they seem extremely fleeting; barely on the screen for a second.

Was'nt watching unfortunately - were they shown on Scottish/Grampian/Ulster?

I seem to remember the Ice Age bumpers from a few weeks back, and were they not custom-made?

Awww... ITV have made idents for me.

Well that would be funny if we'd not all seen the triology a million times before on five.

The full trilogy has never been shown before on Five.

They were on Scottish/Grampian. Don't know about UTV though.

It's a shame that the news will interupt the Matrix films on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I wish ITV would use a bit of common sense and schedule films at the weekend, where the news is flexible. They could have easily shown the Matrix films on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Yes the Hulk breakbumpers were used on UTV. Not sure about the Matrix ones, I haven't been in most of the night, just caught the Hulk ones this afternoon.

EDIT: UTV seem to be using the Matrix breakbumpers as well (minus the logo)

Not really much point promoting a trilogy that will get very little viewers. The only reason they're doing it is to slip up Lost on Tuesday.

Heaven forfend a channel should try and out-rate another...

Could you imagine when Channel 4 first started that ITV would ever schedule something to out-do them? It's a sign of real success for Channel 4 that ITV are concerned.
