Yes that is correct.

I wish they'd stop tinkering with scheduling for Thw Bill. Quite often it's down to one episode a week, and a while ago it was off for about 2 weeks IIRC. Surely they could shuffle it to a later slot when there is football,or even have the footie on ITV4.

The always drop it for awards shows like the Brits and NTA as well.

I do think 1 episode a week of The Bill would be enough though.

Agreed, they could make the storylines better if they reduced to a regular single-episode-a-week basis.

STV also used the 8pm Monday slot but that was a couple of years ago,
all we got was highland music show Shocked

Well, thats the end of series two for PokerFace, what a great final it had also! Such a shame that Millionaire will be back next week taking its slot.. Rolling Eyes I wouldn't mind another series of Family Fortunes instead of Millionaire!

Have you rebranded again, Andrew Tyne Tees?

Are you allowed to rebrand? I don't know weather i should go back to my old name, as everyone pre 2006 knows who i am.

As for the changes, i personally would prefer Tonight in a later show, it does well against EastEnders, so should do even better in a later slot. I wonder how much Macdonald get for introducing the programme, and saying goodbye.

Isn't June leaving this week? After over 21 years, I shall miss her. Apparently Jim returns this week and they both leave together.

It looks like ITV Wales arent losing a regional slot afterall - they are opting out of Tonight next Tuesday at 8.30pm and showing it in a late night slot instead.

....and getting his name in the title which really should be:
"Tonight with 30 seconds of Trevor McDonald"

I know. He really needs to do studio interviews at least, like Anne Robinson used to do on Watchdog.

I thought he'd have become more involved since he quit the ITV News, but he hasn't really - it's still the usual rotation of houses, pensions etc.

What they should do is cut the reports down to 15-20 minutes and then have Trevor interview studio guests and the reporter about the topic.

Or even better just drop Trevor McDonald - possibly give him a Sunday political show - along the lines of BBC's Sunday AM. ITV should think about dropping Tonight and possibly rename it either The Big Story (Carlton's attempt at current affairs) or This Week (but that is currently used by BBC), TV Eye (This Week's rename for about 10 years during the 80's) or how about World In Action or its Granada predecessor Spotlight?
