This is great!  So now, folks, we can watch everyone else's regional programmes and stuff!  Wicked!  (I believe that means afternoon soaps all the way on the Granada channels.  Crossroads, then Emmers then Corrie.  Cool!)
Crossroads is on every region at 2.05pm. Emmerdale's repeat is the following weekday on ITV2, not ITV1. Coronation Street is only repeated on Fridays (at 2.05pm and 2.35pm), which is odd, 'cos only 2 get shown that way, not 4. Couldn't they remove 2 of those Bill repeats?

With regard to regional divisions, Sky have already started this... footie radio stations Big Blue, The Saint and (coming soon) The Villain are only available on EPG in certain regions (but can be stored anywhere)

Of course it's been happening before the radio channels came on air.... Channel 4's 6 DSat regions.

Hmm, I clearly live in the E. Midlands region, but on C4 on DSat, it claims I live in the North region!!

E Midlands probably isn't a DSat C4 region.

Well, Midlands is. And that's what I get when watching on terrestrial (from Waltham).

I just want people outside of Wales to see the hilariously funny Barry Welsh is Coming on wednesday nights. When HTV comes to Sky, people outside of Wales should give it a try.

Well, it's happened... ITV1 has started testing.. But for some reason, it's testing on the PAS 9 satellite!!

Frequency details:

11477 H MPEG-2/clear, SID 3, PIDs 1360/1320.

The PAS 9 satellite is at 58.0 degrees W.

Rumours suggest it's only there for the Grand Prix, but we'll have to wait and see.

I cant wait for the turning off of analouge tv cause what will ITV do then when the majority of viewers who have SKY Digital want to watch champions matches?

David, by the time analogue disappear (2010??!), ITV will be post code based on satellite therefore allowing Champions League matches.

ITV's only concern at the moment is just getting on there in the first place.

I forgot that Analouge turn off was a long time.

ITV1 on the PAS 9 satellite is the 'return feeds' for the USA Grand Prix. Of course ITV (Carlton) has been on satellite before.... Euro 2000, Carlton was free-to-air for 3 weeks across Europe as return feeds for the major football event
