OT, but there was a good cock up at 2.00pm on Granada, but we had the generic news ident into a regional programme, then the announcer said Now it's time for Soccer Sunday, even though the programme at 2.00pm is a Sunday Supplement Special about Liverpool and the capital of culture.
Though Granada are still showing Catchphrase, but we didn't miss anything on Wednesday, I think Granada showed Beckham's Body Parts quite late.

As for who make five go mad...........well Its a Granada Television Production.
Strange - the 2 times I've seen it the endcap has said TTTV Production - Unless each region has edited the endcap...
I have seen 1 episode with a TTTV Production on it but I have also seen a Granada Production too.
I think it must be what region people watch on is what Endcap they see.

The only thing Granada missed on Wednesday was Job Swap at 2:30. I would rather watch Job Swap then Catchphrase today!
Beckhams Body parts was on in most regions at 11:40 with one or 2 areas showing local stuff.
With wednesday having extra news I think ITV might be a day behind with Love 2 shop too. On thursday it said something like 'Only 8 days to go' where as its only 7 days to go. That was obviously wednesdays episode shown a day late. Is there going to be a double bill next week or something?

I hadnt realised some regions were showing repeats in the 2.30pm slot, you'd think now the slots are back they would show something original in them, thats the least they can do now there are so few regional slots. I suppose a repeat of a local prog would have been better than Catchphrase.
That link you gave for Yorkshire's girlstalk isnt working, do you know if the slot is regional the first week in January (ie from the 5th onwards) or later in the month. Sorry to have to ask, its just im interested in ITV1 and the regional slots.

It'll be regions that were showing new stuff last week at 2.30pm that are opting out today at 5.05pm. Granada for example were showing repeats so its not important that they missed a day on Wednesday.
And talking about 2004. www.yorkshiretv.com/girlstalk tells us that there is a regional afternoon slot in January

If you knock the s of girls it works as I got confused the YTV show is actually called Girl Talk. It says its back at the end of January at 2.30pm. The continuity announcer also said this afternoon that a new series of That's Your Lot (YTV regional programme which has been showing for the last two weeks at 2.30pm) is back in April, no doubt at 2.30pm again. That's all that's known at present

It looks like the 2.30pm regional slot will come and go, probabaly they are making sure programs of true regional content are being shown in them, remember when it was a permanent slot it was only Thursday/Friday that GMG and Carlton showed regional content in the slots.
Anyway, on Sunday 4th January we have just one regional slot at 11.55am - Yorkshire and Anglia are showing Soccer Sunday, Central are showing Central Newsweek, HTV Wales have a repeat of Coast to Coast.

Had a quick look at Mon 5th Jan's schedules, and I can't see any regional slots that day.
The morning is the same as usual, although Brian Capron (Tricky Dicky) is presenting This Morning with Fern apparently, Phil must be on holiday.
It changes at 1pm with a repeat of Holiday Showdown (I take it Des & Mel are on a break). 2pm is Moving Day and 2.30pm Wish You Were Here ? Today.
Then in the troubled 5-6pm slot, we have surprise surprise a return to You've Been Framed at 5pm (although with a Jonathon Wilkes edition) and at 5.30pm sees new series, I Want That Holiday.

I saw the schedule for Monday 5th on Radio Times's website. I see the afternoon is nothing but repeats or holiday programs. Couldnt they have brought back Shortland Street
