It looks like the 2.30pm regional slot is back on ITV1 on Monday 1st December - this is what some of the regions are showing
Anglia - East Life
Yorkshire - Baby Days
Tyne Tees – Just Map
Central - Out of the Frying Pan
HTV West - A Rural Affair
HTV Wales - Prized Possessions
Meridian - Great Country Homes
Channel – Great Country Homes
Granada – The Afternoon Show
London – Nice Little Earners
Border – Style Bible
Do we (the viewer) require a 'local slot' in the afternoon anymore since ITV have finally managed to copy all the popular programmes from BBC1 and Channel 4 and made their own versions?
I feel ITV daytime is quite good and should stay as it currently is!
Or maybe reintroduce a soap back into the daytime schedule.

I dunno, the previous offering didn't work (or at least not as much as its previous incarnation) so who's to suggest that a brand new soap is going to?
And we all know what Jez would like to see at 2:30 from Dec 1st don't we?
Oh how lovely. Big, fat and all round chubby chops Eamon O'Neal is back with The Afternoon show. That’s nice. Like big old Eamon!!!!
Only one thing, I bet its a F***** ITV1 ident before the shows and not a Granada One!!! Why do Granada keep showing the Mel walking towards us, but its the ITV1 version and not the Granada version??? I am sick of this!
BTW, I like to flick around the regions on Sky at 2:30. At 2:30 I know Scottish will show the 2pm ITV show. Grampian will show Corrie Repeat, but any one have an idea what Ulster Television will stick on? Just as long as its not old episodes of 'All mixed up' with Eamon Holmes. That show is just unwatchable.
Chris I do apologise for missing Westcountry out, I knew id misse dout some regions which is why I said "some" but didnt realise Carlton-Westcountry was the only one.
To make up for it here is the program they are showing and also details of the program
"The Tanner Brothers
Series going behind the scenes at Chris and James Tanner's acclaimed resaurant, meeting local suppliers and taking time out away from the kitchen with family and friends. On the menu today is Thai-style sea bass and Gressingham duck breast with five spices."

Wow - Another Interesting Westcountry program then. I'm sure this fella's restaurant is not as good as my family's down there. LOL. Looks like I will stick to Granada/Scottish et al.

Surely Westcountry TV are going to run out of food related ideas shortly!
ALL Westcountry programmes revolve around either food or walking!
