BTW Ian Payne from TTTV appears a lot as a reporter on ITV Sport. He's also the VO presenter of the Nationwide League programme. I think ITV take from many regions; Roger Tames used to feature a lot until he became head of sport at TTTV.

Yorkshire Televison showed Soccer Sunday Live again today.

It was Wolves v Sheffield Wednesday.

YTv and CARLTON Central (east) showed the same match! Best thing was, it was4:3

damn i missed it - was there split continuity between east and west then? split programme? and all those promos were sub regional too? what happened on central south? was central east showing YTV calendars studio + presenter too?

Given the fact that the game was held in Wolverhampton I'd say (although I did not see it) that Central would not have put out a separate coverage of the same game to the East of the region and that it would have been a programme broadcast across the whole of the region. Furthermore I can't really see Central using YTV's presentation or vice-versa (although what is this business with all the programmes having the same name, I'd have preferred it if they'd kept their old regional names!)

The whole CENTRAL region and the whole YTV region saw Wolves v Sheffield. Central's own coverage, which YTV viwers did not see, came from Birmingham studios.
