Here is another idea for the TV Forum. I am not a regular contributor, but like many others I'm sure, I read it it avidly every day. Every week, there should be a 'dispute this statement'.
From reading numerous posts about the terrible state of ITV1, and the lack of direction from any of the regions, it's pretty clear that there's a mess out there just waiting to be cleaned up. But which regions are doing well amongst the mire of crapness?
This week, make a case for your region. Tell the world that it actually knows what its doing. That's right...
Dispute this statement: My ITV1 region doesn't know where its going.

It sounds too much like a History essay for my liking:
' 'Without the Influence of the United States, the League of Nations was Doomed from the Start' Do you agree with this statement?' GRR! I hate that sort of question!

Interesting idea .. not sure we could think up a topic each week though.
Can't speak about ITV, but my regional French tv seems to know exactly where it's going - on strike! For most of the past week. Not that it's any good when the workers can actually be bothered to turn up, though. There's only one channel over here that has regional programming, and it's all pants.
By the way, can someone add 'France 3 Aquitaine' to the list of regions, please?!
Well I disagree-You have Meridian, and Meridian barring generic looks have kept the same type of music and logo since 1993,the year they started. Also unlike other GMG regions they use the original heart animations before the ident. And FRED DINEAGE presents one of the regions news, there are multiple regions, strong regional identity etc........

You think that sounds like a History assignment? How about this: 'The reluctance of the League of Nations to do anything but appease Hitler and Mussolini in the 1930s was the most important factor in the the world going to war from 1939'?
This was the sort of question I had GCSE Modern World History a few years back and will have until I finish my History degree! Lol!
