I'm surprised their application for an ITV logo on the tower was rejected. It's a real shame for them, to have an anonymous slab of concrete as their studio base. They should definitely be allowed to hang a logo on there.

I'm starting to wonder how this has never been leaked.....
ITV are supposidly coming to my school (carlisle year 8 ) to film with people in X band to feature in the new titles.. Someone did say for ITV News, but it could Lookaround, I genuinly dont have a clue what is going on but if i find out more I will keep you updated..

Slightly reminds me of the former GDR state-owned station Deutscher Fernsehfunk DFF and its Brandenburg-esque look, that was on the air from reunification until December 1991.
I know that it's an early logo, but to me it still looks good today. Most probably as its just a text based logo, no shapes, simple lines, and a design to fit the letters with each other.
I'm presuming the new logo will be nothing like that.
