Well now I know what I've been missing out on for the past 16 years. Was really impressed with Calendar, the presentation that is and certainly not the news. Finally got to see Meridian Tonight again, after being away from Meridian's region for quite some time - looked a bit tacky but nice to see again. Had a bit of a laugh at the stone-faced Border presenters, and that was about it. Couldn't be arsed flicking around for 30 mins, to 16 different channels - I know I'd have missed most of their stings/idents/end titles that way. Anyway, nice to finally see it appear.

All you English ITV1 viewers might want to have a look at regions like UTV and Scottish/Grampian where the whole ITV1 branding was never taken up.
They are about the only unique ITV regions left as Carlton/Granada own all the rest (apart from Channel).
Personally this is my first look at ITV1 presentation as UTV refuse to use the term. I like Carltons presentation, UTV really go for a more informal/friendly feel than a professional sophisticated one.
I can understand why they take that angle when you consider the viewer base, but its nice to see an alternative. I hope the other ITV regions stay on Sky so viewers can have a choice.
Problem is they're all using bloody Night and Day trailers straight into programmes -- I've been on UTV since 6.30 and haven't seen any proper presentation yet
I am so so happy to watch Carlton, but as Jason said they have been Night and Day trailers, so I haven't seen the iden't, it's about time I got the videotape out!

Think I'll switch to STV or HTV if this keeps up
You can always rely on STV to go its own way!
Look forward to seeing proper presentation and not them Night & Day trailers
Hey, it's kinda like In-Vision Continuity for the 21st-century. : Okay, maybe not.
I like HTV News announcement, 'And now at 6 o' clock, time for the national news' Wish they said that on Scottish, but I suppose that excludes Grampian and Border.

Hey, that's a sentence you don't read very often on forums like these!
Correct ITVd is not on the channel islands - i'm sure I read somewhere that the frequencies used for DTT, are very close to something totally different and non-brodcasting in France hence clash avoiding measures.
It's making me wonder then if the Sky digital ITV feed is being spooned of the ITVdigital feeds..?
You lot are making me jelous, I have ITVd, so no chance of watching Meridian Tonight for a change whenever I get fed up of 'Smug' Bob Warman.
