Lyngsat.com is reporting that the second Grampian feed (the one in place on Channel TV) is infact the sub-region of Dundee.

Can anyone confirm this (obvously not at the moment, but when picture come back on-line!)

Can someone help me? every time I search for channels at 10.832 GHz or 10.892 GHz, I get a 'no signal found' message.Sad
Are the tuning details correct, or am I forever lumbered with watching only the Scottish, Grampian, and UTV regions on digital TV?

Well we had William Road test card in the early hours, then pictures until this lunchtime when it was back to the blue screen again and... (goes off to check...) it's back again!

Don't you just love these tests!

Cheers, Asa

You are putting the SR (22.0) and FEC (5/6) in right? (for Mad Andy B)

Help!

I still can't see ITV1 on sky digital!!!

I've gone into Services , pressed 4 , then 4 again, but then been confused by what has come up on the screen.

I figured out where to type in the number such as 10891, and how to choose either H or V - but then what?

What does the third thing mean? (the thing where the choices are 22 or 27, if I remember correctly)

And the fourth thing? (e.g. 1/2 or 5/6 etc)

And at what point do those numbers such as 2:1 and 2:7 (as quoted at the start of this post) become relevant? How and where do I type those numbers in?

The choices for 'Symbol Rate' are 22000 and 27500. Choose 22000.

Then on the 'FEC Rate' choose 5/6.

Then press the scan option at the bottom of the menu (can't remember exactly what it's called), there will be a screen after that giving the signal strength of the transponder, then press select, it'll think about it a while and the list of channels should come up. press the yellow button on each of them then select and they should be stored!!

To obtain the channels once stored, go to services, 6, then move the cursor down to the desired channel (eg 1-2 for Central) and press select.

Its interesting watching the Granada Regions start their regional
programmes.

On YTV, Calendar starts at about 5.59pm, and is followed straight afterwards
at 6.26pm with the YTV Weather presented in-vision.

Granada Reports starts 20 seconds later at 6pm, After the programme though,
its the adverts, followed by Granada Weather presented out of vision at
6.28pm.

On Tyne Tees, its the Tyne Tees Weather first at 5.59pm, presented
in-vision, North East Tonight then begins at 6.01pm.

YTV's Jon Mitchell is doing the TT Weather today, its interesting to see all
the YTV Weather graphics, but without the Chevron design in the background.

YTV's Debbie Lindley, read the Granada Weather yesterday

Watching the regions on sky last night I saw a few interesting things.
1 Debbie Lindley presented Tyne Tees Weather last night in vision, while on YTV it was Jo Blythe. Was Debbie in Leeds or Newcastle?

2. Anglia regional trailors are now voiced over by the same guy who does YTV TT GRANADA etc, the Dog has moved to the right like the Leeds Stations.

3. All except Border that is. They now have a Dog on their regional trailors, like a squashed up heart ident in the top LEFT of the screen different to the other Granada stations. It is also clearly done by Border and not Leeds, wonder why.

4. Border News finishes with the hearts sidebar (like at the end of programs) with a BORDER endcap on the left....weird however I am fairly impressed with Border.

so a couple of strange things here, anyone got any answers??

I expect she was in Leeds, as she voiced the Granada Weather.

It seems 2 presenters work each day.
One does the YTV Weather (Jo Blythe yesterday, Debbie Lindley today)
and the other does the Tyne Tees Weather and Granada Weather
(Debbie Lindley yesterday, Jon Mitchell today)

Is Bob Johnson not with Tyne Tees anymore then?
