Just thought you might like to know that at about 5:10am there was a short switching break on ITV1 London and the picture and sound went all 'wobbly' then it came back on and it appears we were using a backup feed from Rowridge (Well Teletext was indicating it was being fed from there) and then about 5 minutes later the same thing happened with the picture and sound and we were back on ITV1 London Teletext from Crystal Palace.

Either this was a small fault or the engineers are up early doing some tests!

I take it that Rowridge and Crystal Palace are transmitters? How can you tell from Teletext? I take it that this was on analogue terrestrial?

Whilst on Page 100, press Reveal, a 3 letter abbreviation appears on the screen. That's where teletext is being transmitted from.

In my area, Teletext is being transmitted from the Rowbridge transmitter.

Aah, I see. I'll try that later. What's the abbreviation for Rowbridge then? I wonder what abbreviation I'll see (Sutton Coldfield)?
