Border certainly have the network feed all the time - apart from

* The Border Scotland opt-outs for football - do they still use the same recorded announcement?
* Pre-regional news - do they actually bother any more though?

Channel Television? I'm not sure. I know there are local idents but I don't know how predominant they are, and whether there are any voiceovers.

Sadly no, they don't bother with idents or announcements before any regional news. ITV1's presentation is very poor. Rolling Eyes

Most of the time HTV have the network ECP/announcer -- but when there are local variations ahead in the schedule, the [recorded] Wales announcer is heard over the credits [with no ECP that I've ever seen].

But as I said last night the HTV announcer could be heard speaking over the network one.

HTV Wales dont have announcements before regional news either, they certainly have no excuses as they have their own announcers!

Clearly a mistake -- but was the local announcer only heard in the first place because of the variations later on in the evening?

Yes. They promoted what was on next and then the 11pm regional series.
