ITV1 & ITV2 Rebrands

Just seen a trailer for too many cooks on this afternoon at 1pm, just like it was trailed that way yesterday, I hope that was a cock up by ITV1, just seen an ITV1 Wales brakbumper, it quite nice.

I said there are no break FLASHES. There are break BUMPERS, on both sides of the break, not just at the beginning. So Richards was right

Strange that the WALES text on the ident was WHITE, whereas on the breakbumper it was BLUE!

and in London anyway the adverts seem to have a "cut" transition without any "black".

I would imagine that they're tweaking around with things at the moment, to try and see what looks best.

I wholly approve of this practice of having a break bumper on both sides of the break - the cut from the end-of-ads "freeze" to the following programme/trailer has always looked rediculous, but this makes it all look much neater.

Gah, had everything set up ready, then ended up missing the first thing due to the capture stuff crashing (again). Remind me to avoid Pinnacle like the plague in future.

Play the ident back, and pause it just after the start, when the ITV1 logo is on top of the blue squares whilst they're lined up straight. Does that look like a possible "pause" point for a promotion graphic to you?

YES - a 16x9 clip would fit in there perfectly!

I dont think much of the music so far! Very non-descript!
