I can imagine a variation for Christmas, where instead of clouds you have snow falling.

Quite right - the clouds would look daft in the evening, especially now that the clocks have gone back.

ITV2 used exactly the same RE:play ident! Nothing different over there yet!

I would imagine that, if we do get regional idents at some point, the regional names will appear in place of the "Wales" here:

Glad ITV2 hasn't been touched. Always liked those. Quite a brave move not to include a proper logo on them, so happy they continue as they are.

The regional name looks a bit poor attached in an ordinary font on the bottom like that.

Be interesting to see CiTV's new startup's as the existing set started with the old ITV logo.
