Central News
on any Carlton Central made programs theyre are being advertised on the national things, you know where they say something on itv1, all the website adresses for carlton central are itv.com/carltoncentral and no carlton.com and no itn.co.uk its know itv.com/news and aparantley LWT will be known as granada in a few months time, so is this the first signs of ITV1 being just one company and could we see the return of Central in the Midlands?

On Anglia, itv.com is now shown at the bottom of the ident. But at the end of local programmes, www.angliatv.com is shown.
How would the setting up of a new website (itv.com) signal the amalgamation of all regions?

Going to ITV.com and selecting the 'regions' option brings up a menu of regions, clicking one takes you to that regional company's own site. BTW on trailers on C. Central and C. Westcountry I saw ITV.com/region URLs, which presumably redirect to the local sites.
BTW - Anyone tried entering ITV.com/Westward or ITV.com/TVS or similar and seeing what comes up? :

On the Carlton website for Central, it talks about a brand new website in January 2002 'especially dedicated to the
Central
region', with no Carlton name in sight!!!

Says the same about a website on the London page too.
Also, notice Scottish isn't in the region list on itv.com, obviously a mistake!

Interesting tho that they've got no plan to create a special site for the Westcountry region... not yet anyway... I've just been on the Carlton sites and WC still has the previous style of Carlton site...
