ITV1 Fault

There was a fault on ITV1 this afternoon, coming back in from the break on Love 2 Shop. An ITV1 "Back Soon" caption was displayed for about 30 secs.

Interestingly, at the end, the ITV1Wales recorded announcer cut in about 30 secs before the credits rolled to say what was coming up next.

Yes I saw this happen on ITV1Wales but wasnt quick enough in turning over to see whether it affected ITV1 West / ITV1 'normal'

Talking about faults on ITV1, has anyone else noticed how dodgy start ups at 9.25am seem to be on ITV1 lately.

After the end of GMTV freezes it goes to a black screen until about 3 seconds past when they then crash into the ITV1 ident 3 seconds late, sometimes even missing the start of what the announcer has to say. I wonder what is causing this

What's causing this is a lack of love, care and attention to things. I'd love it if the "Back Soon" caption was displayed all day for a week. That'd be the best week of ITV for ages. BTW, anybody got a capture of the caption? I havn't seen the new(ish) one yet. Got a capture of the old one tho. It's on MHP PP somewhere for those that know and are interested.

If someone could capture this 'Startup sequence' with the ident crashing in that would be great because i'd love to see it
