Well I was thinking of the Medical Centre on Rosamund Street, but yes the hospital would be a good idea, esp as it is away from the Street, and it would have people like Martin, Katy and Karl turning up now and again in the show but could introduce a lot more characters that would only appear in the spin off.

ITV really need a medical soap, ive no idea why the series Doctors on BBC1 is so popular, ive watched it a few times but its crap and I couldnt get into it, im certain ITV could do better.

If not bring Shortland St back with Rachel, Waverly, Matt and Donna Laughing

I thought Doctors was crap, until i watched in a couple of times after Neighbours. It's actually entertaining! And I like the idea of these "rival" practices that they have put into the show!

Re: 24 Hour Quiz

Surprised nobody has passed comment on this programme yet. It really was poor don't you think ?

The format in itself isn't that bad, combining a quiz game with a reality TV show, but the execution of the idea just seemed awful. The "Quiz Pod" is reminiscent of 'Big Brother' and moreso the recent 'Shattered' (with red walls) but it's just tiny and naff looking. The Pod appears to be housed in the TV studio where all the contestants battle it out in the main 5pm show for a place in the pod.

Then there is the host. Shaun Williamson, nice enough guy, but why is fat Barry from Eastenders presenting a quiz show ? Surely a show like this needs an established, slick presenter ? Shaun didn't seem really comfortable, and to be fair, he seemed to be surrounded with incompetence with technical problems plaguing the first show. The contestants in the pod had to resort to holding up cards for their answers when the TV monitor things failed.

So, a typical Endemol production but with poor production values I'd say. Another 5-6pm flop no doubt, why don't they just simulcast the News Channel and have done with it ?

I really didn't understand it to be honest. What with it's poor questions and smarmy contestants, i can hardly see it becoming a success.

Shaun Williamson did seem a bit poor, and had trouble reading the autocue.

The bit were all three contestants kept 'timing out' was funny.

To be honest I wasn't paying attention so didn't really understand what was going on.

I only caught the 17:00 show but the rules and instructions werent really ever explained and I still dont see the relevance of the reality element at all!

A poor show all around! Im going to try and catch the ITV2 portions tomorrow!

Well the 24 Hour Quiz "Pod Party" is currently on ITV1.

I'm still not sure what is supposed to be going on. I can't believe this is on ITV1, the whole Matt Brown thing shouts ITV2 to me. I'm not sure what I was expecting with this show

I think viewers are a bit tired of reality shows at the moment after I'm a Celebrity so I can't see the reality aspect catching on. Meanwhile at the same time there's that tripe on Channel 5 which also seems to be flogging a dead horse

The best thing so far about this show are the trailers!

I know, after all the hype you'd except something different. Instead we get a cross between a National Lottery game-show and a cheap reality show.

Take the text messages for example: "Craig is fit" - Jason in London. WTF's that gotta do with a quiz show!!

I think we can scratch this from the 5-6 slot. What awful programming, ITV letting themselves down after a great start to the year.

One thing that I did like in the 5pm slot last year (not the primetime one though) was Design Wars.

The show was just for half an hour and gave a taster of what was going on each day. I think it was a bit short though. Two weeks to transform a house. True they did it, but a couple more weeks would have made them so much better.

The afternoon show with Lorraine Kelly worked well, the Saturday Night show, not so well. Who wants to watch houses on a saturday night?

Quite a good concept, and great theme tune by music 4. I haven't heard a bad peice of music from them yet!

Caught bits of the 24 Hour quiz. It looked hideous. A hideous set, very bad presenting and god awful contestants.

Words just can't describe how bad it was
